Cookies
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our Site are visited and by how many people. Ryviu cookies do not collect personal information, and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are or what your name or e-mail address is.
Most browsers allow you to prevent the browser from accepting new cookies, to be notified when you receive a new cookie, or to disable cookies. Some of our business partners may use cookies on our Site. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
We also use the following third-party services on the Site and in the App: Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager (usage statistics, via cookies), Cloudflare (hosting, security and performance; may set a security cookie), and Gleap (live chat and support — when you contact us through the chat widget, Gleap processes the name, email address, message content and basic browser/device information you provide so we can answer you). Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting the core Service.
Information You Provide to Us
We receive and store any information you enter on the Site or through the Services or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the personally identifiable information (PII) you provide for purposes such as responding to your requests for Services, customizing the content you see, communicating with you about our products, and marketing our Services to you.
In order for you to use all of our features, you must register with Ryviu. We require your e-mail address and password during the registration process.
Further information may be required if you choose to purchase paid components of the Services, such as credit card and billing information. Ryviu uses third party partners for credit card processing who may require and store your credit card and billing information.
Security Of Data
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, email delivery and payment processors), and with your e-commerce platform as needed to provide the App. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or another lawful request for information we receive, or to protect our rights otherwise.
Behavioural advertising: as described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) educational page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.
Payments
We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In the case that the payment is not collected directly via your ecommerce platform, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.
Where you pay us directly, the payment processor we work with is PayPal; Shopify merchants are billed through Shopify Billing. Their Privacy Policy can be viewed at https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

Use of Ryviu by Children
Ryviu is not intended for children. If you are under 16, you may use the Site and Services only with the supervision of your parent or guardian.
Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as you use the Service. When you uninstall the App or ask us to delete your data, we delete it from our systems in line with our platform obligations.
Shopify Data Protection Requests (GDPR)
As a Shopify app, Ryviu subscribes to Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks and handles them as follows:
customers/data_request — when a merchant’s customer requests their data, we provide the merchant with the personal data we hold about that customer (reviews, questions and associated name/email).
customers/redact — when a merchant’s customer requests erasure, we delete or anonymise that customer’s personal data from our systems.
shop/redact — 48 hours after a store uninstalls the App, Shopify asks us to erase the store’s data; we delete the store’s data from our systems within 30 days of that request, except where we must retain records to comply with law.
Merchants and their customers may also make these requests directly by emailing [email protected].
International Data Transfers
Ryviu is operated from Vietnam and our infrastructure is provided by Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Wherever your data is processed, we apply the safeguards described in this policy.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
